Refund Policy

Last updated: 22 September 2026

Fourteen days from purchase, unconditional, no questions asked. If ChatPeer is not what you wanted, email support@chatpeer.co from the address you bought with and we will refund you in full.

What “no questions asked” means

It means what it says. You do not need to explain what went wrong, demonstrate a fault, or complete a form. We may ask what prompted it, because it is how the product gets better — but answering is optional and has no bearing on the refund.

How to request one

  1. Email support@chatpeer.co from the email address used at checkout.
  2. If you have your licence key to hand, include it — it makes the lookup quicker, but we can find the purchase without it.

Refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe. Stripe typically takes five to ten business days to return the money to a card, which is outside our control.

What happens to your licence

The licence key is revoked when the refund is issued, and the extension returns to the free tier on your devices.

Nothing you created is deleted. Folders, tags, bookmarks and saved prompts live in your browser’s storage, not on our servers, so a refund does not touch them. They are still there at free-tier limits, and they come back in full if you buy again later. Before requesting a refund you may want to export anything you need, since the paid export formats stop being available.

Monthly subscriptions

The same fourteen days apply to a first monthly payment. Beyond that, cancelling is the right route rather than a refund: cancel and you are not charged again, and the extension stays on the paid tier until the period you have already paid for runs out.

Upgrades

If you upgraded from Lifetime to All Access and want to undo it within fourteen days, we refund the difference you paid and your Lifetime licence continues.

After fourteen days

We are not obliged to refund after the window, but we would rather not keep money from someone who cannot use the product. If something has genuinely gone wrong — a licence that will not activate, a feature that broke and stayed broken — write to us anyway and we will sort it out.

This policy does not affect statutory rights you may have under consumer law where you live.
