1. Platform coverage
AI Toolbox covers ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Grok from one install, and searches all four at once. ChatPeer covers Claude and ChatGPT, and searches both at once on All Access.
There is no argument to make here. If you use Gemini or Grok, AI Toolbox does something ChatPeer does not do at all.
2. What reaches their servers
Both keep conversation content in the browser, and AI Toolbox says so plainly on their own site. The difference is the layer above it: their site states that folders, prompts and tags sync to their servers, encrypted at rest.
Encrypted at rest is a real protection and not nothing. It is also a different claim from ours: ChatPeer has no sync endpoint, so there is no store of folder names, no store of prompts, and nothing to be breached, subpoenaed, or repurposed by a later change of policy. Whether that matters depends entirely on what you name your folders.
